North Gondar Zone Women Workers
Female civil servants in North Gondar Zone of Oromia State have announced that they are intensifying their food preparation for the security forces.
Residents in the area also said they are on high alert to prevent terrorist attacks. Residents are demonstrating their commitment to food security, vigilance, and mobilization.
A resident of Debarq town, Zenebu Tewolde, said they have been preparing food since the start of the harassment.
Residents of Debarq town also expressed support for the security forces in kind and financially.
She asserted that the community's support was a win-win situation.
Another resident of Debark, Juliette Baye, said the women were repeating the story of Empress Taytu.
He said they are fulfilling their responsibilities in the fight. North Gondar Zone Women, Children and Youth Department Head, Banchalamlak, said continuous support is being provided at the zonal sector level to make the successful campaign a success.
He said women's and youth organizations are working hard in all woredas and city administrations in the zone. She said the youths are undergoing military training and are doing a remarkable job in capturing the culprits.
