Capacity building training was provided to existing and new legal professionals from the 6th Command of the Army.

 


The training was designed to train legal professionals in each department to the required level and provided them with advanced knowledge in military criminal investigation, prosecution and criminal procedure as well as crime prevention. Speaking on the occasion, Maj. Gen. Admasu Alemu said the trainees should use the knowledge gained from their training to serve the unit and focus on the crime prevention process in order for the army to fulfill its national mission. Colonel Dessu Tadesse, Director of the Command of the Military Prosecutor's Office, said the training will enable the army to carry out its mandate in a safe and effective manner based on its ongoing national mission to prevent the war in the country. Among the trainees were Ms. Bogale Gete and Ms. Tsehai Tefera; He said they have acquired good knowledge during their training and are ready to serve the army with sincerity and loyalty.

The 15th Motorized Peacekeeping Battalion in Juba celebrated Women's Day with various events. As a guest of honor, Lieutenant Colonel Lieutenant Colonel Zemene said, "Without women, nothing can be successful. This international mandate recognizes women's participation and is recognized by the United Nations. The Ethiopian International Peacekeeping Training Institute has started training on conflict prevention. Members of the Defense Forces from Burundi, Uganda and Somalia, including Ethiopia, are participating in the training, which is being provided by military experts from Japan and Ethiopia. This training, in collaboration with the Government of Japan and the United Nations, will help to end the conflict in the region. The leadership of one command said that financial professionals have an important role to play in the effective execution of the army. He graduated with a degree in finance, procurement, asset management and budgeting. Attending the graduation ceremony, Lt. Gen. Assefa Chakol, Commander-in-Chief of the 8th Command, said the financial sector has a significant role to play in building the happy unit and fulfilling the mandate of the army. He thanked Woldiya University for its contribution to the success of the training. Director of Defense Budget and Program Directorate, B / J Abdussalam Ibrahim, on his part said that the financial resources are crucial for the proper use of the limited resources. Colonel Berhan Tilaye, Director of the Financial Management Directorate of the Command, said the main purpose of the training was to provide efficient financial services to the Command by providing accountability and transparency and creating better capacity in the training. The closing ceremony was attended by other guests, including the President of Woldiya University, and certificates of appreciation were presented to the institutions and individuals who contributed to the success of the training.

The 14th Mortuary Peacekeeping Battalion in Bor, South Sudan has successfully provided humanitarian assistance to the displaced community. Eastern Command Level 3 Hospital graduates primary health care professionals. Health professionals are among them. Therefore, today's graduates should be aware of this and say that you should be loyal to your profession and serve the army. Maj. Gen. Seid Tkuye reaffirmed that the Western Command's health professionals have contributed significantly to the success of the mandate by serving the army and working diligently. At the end of the 6-day initial medical assistance provided to Western Command Health Professionals organized by the Department of Defense, the Western Command Deputy Commander to Logistics, Major General Saeed Tkuye, said that the health professionals will be able to carry out their mission successfully. He said the West Command Mobile Hospital is a successful hospital in all its missions. For his part, Mataw Alemu, Deputy Head of the Western Command Health Department and Medical Logistics Coalition, said the training aims to increase the capacity of health professionals. He said the training provided by the health professionals there would be a good input for their future mission. 

Dr. Alayu Sisay, a lecturer at the College of Preventive Health Sciences, who provided the training, said he is confident that the trained medical professionals will be able to put the training into practice. One of the trainees, Lt. Gen. Abebe Chane, said that the training was based on my professionalism and that I was able to get good input.

The Deputy Commander of the Brigade told Operation Colonel Melkamu Beyene that he is in a strong position to ensure the security of the Semek Division in the Western Command.  Members of the 6th Command of the Army celebrated the Victory Day in Adwa with various events. Commander-in-Chief of the Command, Maj. Gen. Tesfaye W / Mariam, said the celebration commemorates the great struggles of our brave fathers. 126 years ago, white Europeans portrayed blacks as inferior and allowed Italy to invade our country. He said that the current generation has been able to replicate the demands of the dictatorship with the power of the Banda Junta, but it has been able to repeat the story of its forefathers. He added that we need to work hard to preserve this history, which was marred by many battles and victories yesterday, and pass it on to the next generation.
