A public demonstration in support of the Defense Forces and the Somali Regional State Special Forces was held today in Jijiga, Somali Regional State.

 The rally was attended by Somali Regional State President Mustafa Mohamed, Vice President Ibrahim Osman, Somali Prosperity Office Head Mohamed Shale, other leaders and residents of Jijiga.

 During a rally in Jijiga town, residents delivered messages expressing support for the heroic National Defense Forces and condemning the terrorist TPLF junta. Today, various sections of the community from 20 kebeles in Jijiga town staged a demonstration in support of the TPLF Junta group and the support of the Somali National Army (SNA). 

During the rally, residents chanted slogans in support of the Defense Forces and the Somali Special Forces, and expressed strong opposition to the war against the TPLF, the enemy of the country and the people. 

Residents of Jijiga, who took part in the protest, said the TPLF was committing an unforgivable crime in the history of killing and massacring the country's innocent people. Residents said the TPLF's brutal victories over the people of the Somali region over the past 30 years will never be forgotten. 

The Chief of the Somali Regional State, Mustafa Mohamed, who was present at the rally, said the terrorist group is committing various crimes in order to achieve the long-awaited plan to dismantle the Ethiopians and bring the central government back to power. 

He said the state has no capacity to destroy the state, adding that the state should ensure the peace of the country by using its resources once and for all. He said the people of Somalia have been affected by the situation in June for the past 30 years. 

He said the people of the country should unite in love and unity by thwarting the conspiracies of the forces that create conflict and division in the region.
