Statement from Balderas to the True Democracy Party regarding the current political and military situation in our country! Today, Ethiopia and Ethiopians are in the throes of civil war, famine, tribal politics, injustice, high cost of living, and so on.

It is no exaggeration to say that this is one of the worst tragedies in Ethiopia's history. It is clear from various historical records and their actions that Western countries have long believed that in order to influence Ethiopia, Amhara must be weakened.

The anti-Ethiopian stance of the TPLF and OLF and the myth that Amhara is an oppressive nation are inherited from Western colonialists and historical anti-Ethiopian forces in the region. Although the anti-Amhara rhetoric of these extremists has been co-opted by Herman Cohen and Meles Zenawi for the past 30 years and now by Foreign Minister Blaikon and Dr. Debretsion, it has a long history. The anti-Amhara / Abyssinian narrative began 1637 years ago in 1667.

Imam Muhammad, with the help of the Turks, opened a Jesuit Catholic mission in Fremona, near Adwa, before the Portuguese returned to their homeland after the war. During the reign of Emperor Susinius, these Portuguese missionaries became the emperor's advisers and converted him to Catholicism. As a result, a three-year civil war broke out between the emperor's army and the peasant army of the Orthodox Tewahedo Church. Many people died in the war. Realizing that he could not win the war at that time, Emperor Susinius reaffirmed the Orthodox Tewahedo faith, handed over the throne to his son Fassilades, and as soon as he remained a Catholic, he entered the Tana monastery and died. Their son, Emperor Fasilides, killed the converts and expelled Catholic missionaries from Europe. Second, they made an agreement with the

Turks, who controlled Mtswa, not to return to Ethiopia. The European powers of the day began to resent Ethiopia since the expulsion of millions of missionaries from northern Ethiopia in 1667. This act of Emperor Fassilides has since prompted Western Ethiopian historians who came to Ethiopia under the guise of mission to raise their pen to the Amhara or Abesha community. "If we came to help the Ethiopians, they would not be able to accept our religion," he said. "The Abyssinians have a strong tribal and nationalist ideology and are not prone to colonialism in Africa." This anti-Amhara doctrine, which was sown by Portuguese missionaries in the 16th century, was further propagated by the German Protestant missionaries Kraf and Eisenberg, who came to Shoa as guests of King Sahele Selassie in the 18th century. By denigrating the Amhara and the Orthodox Church, they created the name Oromia and laid the foundations for Oromo extremist nationalism. At the same time, in the 18th century, the Amharic-speaking Wollo Oromo dynasty took control of Gondar's palace. At that time, the Ethiopian central government was in a state of disarray, with local rulers fighting each other, destroying many of the country's farmers through war and famine, and wreaking havoc on the country's economy. Missionaries from various European countries and missionaries came to Ethiopia during the period known as the Age of Judges. These men supported the expansion of local rulers in Ethiopia, providing arms and foreign relations to the warlords of the time. In doing so, they contributed greatly to the ongoing civil war in Ethiopia and to the escalation of genocide.

The articles and books written by these Western explorers after their return to their homeland proved that the Amharas were not suitable for Western powers. Emperor Tewodros played a key role in bringing about the end of the Ethiopian monarchy and restoring Ethiopia's unity and sovereignty. When Emperor Tewodros clashed with the British, the British used Emperor Tewodros 'army to defeat Emperor Tewodros' army, not Lasta Wagshum Gubeze or Emperor Teklegiorgis, who had a large army after Emperor Tewodros. It is well known that Wagshum Gobeze wanted to meet with British General Napier and send him a message to the Magdalen Army, but he refused and sent a messenger to take over the Magdalen Fort. Emperor Tewodros committed suicide by refusing to surrender to the British army, and Wagshum Gobeze later proclaimed Emperor Tekle Giorgis emperor of Ethiopia. However, with the help of Napier's modern weapons, Napier defeated the Lasta Amhara army, led by Emperor Tekle Giorgis, and became Emperor Yohannes IV of Ethiopia. The fact that the Amharas were unsuitable for Britain's policy of colonialism and division of Africans was based on their misguided relationship with Emperor Tekle Giorgis.

The TPLF's founding in the Tigray Forest, based on a February 1968 manifesto, based on Amhara's hatred of Tigray's political dominance over Ethiopia during the reign of Emperor Yohannes.

The TPLF believes that Tigray's power in Amhara, particularly in the Shoa Amhara dynasty led by Emperor Menelik, has been conspired against. According to the TPLF, after the reign of Emperor Yohannes, the throne should have been handed over to the sons of Emperor Yohannes. It is known that Italy's ambition to colonize Ethiopia was thwarted by Emperor Menelik's mature military organization, tactics and the dominance of diplomacy. This event took place at a time when Europeans were invading Africa and Asia, and his exemplary freedom was a major factor in thwarting the aspirations of European sincere rulers. Since his example was not only for the black people in the world but also for the people of Asia, the Europeans were forced to stick to their strategy of weakening Ethiopia and weakening the Amhara community if possible.

Later, during the reigns of Emperor Haile Selassie and the Derg military regime, Ethiopia's role in supporting the African liberation movements was to eradicate colonialism from Africa and to establish the Organization of African Unity (OAU). This role has angered Western powers in Ethiopia. Whenever possible, go from strength to strengthThey do not back down because they believe that Africa's independence will hurt their local interests. 1928 Baron

Roman Prochska, who lived in Addis Ababa a few years before Fascist Italy invaded Ethiopia, served as a legal adviser to European and American diplomats in the city. He wrote the book Abysinia-The Powder Barrel (Abyssinia-Barrel Barrel) against the Amhara community. The Nazi educator said, “It is only when the Amhara can be weakened that Ethiopians can be controlled by the Europeans. He did this by inciting other communities in the country against the Amhara. ” This man was born in 1934. He was deported "Persona non-grata" by the emperor's government for endangering internal and external security. The Anti-Amhara Narrative The Eritrean Liberation Front, the TPLF and the OLF inherited it from Roman Prochska and later translated his teachings from 1928 to 1933. It is from the Italian fascist government that invaded Ethiopia. It is known that during the five fascist Italian invasions, the Italians publicly incited various communities in Ethiopia to hate the Amhara. After the revolution in 1969. It was publicly stated at the time that Somalia was invaded by the United States and the West. The United States has been encouraged by the US support to invade Ethiopia because it has refused to send money to Ethiopia after receiving payments from Ethiopia. Later, in 1983, with the support of the US government and the Herman Cohen and Meles Zenawi agreement, the TPLF / EPRDF was handed over power in Ethiopia. 2010 It is now clear that the TPLF was not under pressure from the United States to go to Mekele and take over the reins of power as the TPLF grew in opposition.

The peaceful transfer of power from Prime Minister Hailemariam to Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has been internationally recognized as a US-led initiative that has been welcomed by all Western countries. As soon as the Prime Minister took office, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize by Prime Minister Abdi Farah Shirdon in Norway to cover his peaceful relations with Eritrea. However, Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed has not held the TPLF accountable for 27 years of human rights abuses, looting, looting, and other abuses of Ethiopians. They also did not prosecute TPLF members who committed abuses against the country and the people. In addition, while TPLF officials traveled to Tigray to arm Ethiopia, the Prime Minister failed to provide adequate preparation and attention to his government. As a result, the ongoing war in northern Ethiopia has claimed many lives, destroyed homes, and displaced many. When the time comes, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed will not be held accountable for the ongoing war in the country.

The TPLF's stance on Ethiopia's policy of relinquishing control of the Nile Dam to Egypt, a key ally of the Middle East, was based on the TPLF's non-partisanship with Ethiopian politics. It is not hard to see that this is the policy of the United States of America to use the TPLF. In addition, the United States did not like the cooperation between the Eritrean, Ethiopian and Somali governments. He called for an immediate end to the fighting, for the withdrawal of Eritrean troops from Tigray, and for the withdrawal of Amhara Special Forces from Wolkait and Raya areas. Failing that, they imposed financial sanctions and travel bans on the authorities.

If the war continues as it began, they fear that the TPLF, their internal agent, may disappear. He threatened to take the prime minister to the International Criminal Court (ICC), citing "famine as a war strategy." It is not hard to see that the key reason for leaving Tigray is the US threat to bring the International Criminal Court (ICC) to the forefront, not out of sympathy for the farmers of Tigray. The Prime Minister's government has agreed to leave Tigray after the election, bowing to US demands. According to the agreement, Tigray will be completely liberated by the end of the election. “It is scattered like flour. No heavy weapons.

Etc. was found to be false. It is no secret that Wahhat left his tank, cannon, mortars and BM defenses improperly and hastily when he left Tigray. Shocked by US and European political and economic pressures, the forced departure of the Prime Minister's government from Tigray coincided with the Oromo's desire to weaken Amhara, which gave him the opportunity to "throw two birds with one stone." It is no secret that for the past three years, Oromo prosperity has been more feared by the Amhara Special Forces than by the TPLF. As noted above, Wahhat has been training and equipping with special forces for three years, but the government has turned a blind eye to the main focus of the Amhara region. On the contrary, it has even removed the region's political and security leaders who focused on Amhara Special Forces training.

With the recognition and support of the OPCW, Amhara has been brutally murdered and displaced from Benishangul and Welega; The killings and displacements have not stopped. The prosperous government of the OPCW did not do enough to stop the attack. This will make the prosperous government that is leading the country accountable. Now the war is out of Tigray and in the Amhara region.

The Raya Alamata Front has been forced to withdraw from key TPLF positions by government order. In addition, the media reported that the Amhara Special Forces and militia had been forced to vacate their strongholds, and that in some places the Defense Forces had fired heavy artillery shells on them. It is being seen that the TPLF is expanding its unprovoked war in the Amhara region and that the Amhara region's struggle to defeat the TPLF invaders has been severely hampered in terms of manpower and environmental resources, and in the process is being undermined by Oromo interests.

How did Ethiopia endanger its very existence? If the answer to this question is planted in TigrayIt would be a mistake to attribute the war to the TPLF's ability to oust the government from Tigray. The fall began before the war.

• George: To begin with, there is no political difference between the Oromo prosperity and the power struggle between the TPLF and the TPLF. Both are tribal politicians who stand guard over the crumbling constitution.

• George: Both of them have done enough to show that they have no interest in turning Ethiopia into a dictatorship, but in turn. The TPLF's dictatorship for twenty-seven years is a well-known and hotly debated issue. It is now clear that the so-called institutional improvements over the past three years under the leadership of Oromo Prosperity (Defense, Police, Judiciary, Electoral Board, etc.) are now untrue and undisputed.

• George: As for the leadership of the war, the National Defense Forces suffered no less than 24 October due to its inability to provide decisive military leadership with a single ceasefire. Determined leadership arises when there is an unwavering political purpose for Ethiopia's unity and sovereignty. War is a strategy used to achieve political goals. Victory comes from the right strategy and strategy, which is known to save the country from collapse and danger. To lead a war requires a firm belief in the unity and sovereignty of Ethiopia, as well as a commitment to life. However, the country has not been fortunate enough to have such a decisive leadership because of its tribal politics and power-sharing policies.

• George: The government lies that are hurting the country and preventing the people from defending themselves from violence and humiliation.

 • October 24, 2013: Our country, Ethiopia, is now in grave danger. It has been observed that the political, military and foreign policy leadership of the Prosperity Party to the government has been corrupted and degraded since the war with the TPLF.

• George: The policies of the ruling party, which has been in power for the past three years, are politically, economically and socially dominated. Prosperity's policy is more focused on the vision than national vision, and it has not been able to establish effective national leadership. The failure of the OPCW leader to leave Tigray is a result of the party's failed policy over the past three years.

• The political goal of the Oromo extremist nationalists, if possible, is to use the power of the Oromo government to shape Ethiopia into an Oromo state, and if this is not possible, the establishment of an independent Oromia is evident from their various activities. An independent Oromia government can only be formed if the conditions for Tigray's secession from Ethiopia can be facilitated. Just as the TPLF has taken sole responsibility for seceding from Ethiopia out of fear of the EPRDF's military and organizational capabilities, is "history repeating itself" clearing the way for the TPLF to separate Tigray from the rest of Ethiopia? They answer the question of time and future. What to do now?

 1. From a short-term perspective, individual firing is wrong. This is because the Amhara and Afar regions have been attacked by the TPLF for three years. While the defense should play a key role in saving the country's survival, it was an inappropriate decision for the Amhara and Afar regional special forces and civilian militias to face this role alone for more than a month. Except that it is too late. If the Defense Forces join the struggle of the people for the survival of the country and are determined to make sacrifices in this position, and if I do so, it will renew its name; It will be remembered with honor.

 2. It is clear to the people of the country that the reasons for the current humiliation and disgrace of our country are closely linked to the leadership of the government, which fears power more than anything else. The heavy and unnecessary sacrifices that the country and the people are making are due to the incompetence of the government. However, accountability cannot be raised in the current context of the country. Because the country is not in a position to raise this question. Assessment and accountability will be achieved when the country is stable. The country's political and military leaders must be determined to provide leadership that is free from the tyranny of foreign powers, rather than verbally asserting that they have seized power for their own sake, not for the sake of the country.

3. Ethiopians have stood together at various times and proved their commitment to the continuation of the Ethiopian state by defeating foreign invaders. Therefore, it is important to recognize and trust that Ethiopia's lasting unity and sovereignty can only be achieved through the cooperation of communities from all walks of life and the political forces that put Ethiopia first.

 4. The TPLF, OLF and other Oromo forces are forming a coalition. This coalition of anti-Ethiopian forces can only be thwarted by the cooperation of different communities and other political forces that prioritize Ethiopia. Like Amhara, Afar, Somali, to announce the true resurrection of Ethiopia. . . Such forces, in collaboration with other Ethiopian political forces, must form a strong organization and provide inclusive education to those who seek to disintegrate Ethiopia. The political cooperation of the People's Forces and other Ethiopian forces, while maintaining their own freedom of association, in coordination with the government to save the country, is a political strategy to overcome the country's most serious political and military crisis. Long live Ethiopia's unity !!!
